Anyone who reads this blog knows that I am very much against the two-party duopoly on the presidential debates. Some of the third parties and independents have spent a tremendous amount of time and money to get their candidates on the ballots and they should have a voice in the debates. According to AOL’s poll on this issue, it seems the majority of the voters feel the same way. Amy Goodman summed up why the debates should be open to third parties beautifully in her syndicated column.
