With hot trends updated daily, you might want to take a look at a summary of trends over time. As a mom and pop business owner, you might find some interesting data with Google’s Zeitgeist program.
Quoting Google, “‘Zeitgeist’ means ‘the spirit of the times’, and Google reveals this spirit through the aggregation of millions of search queries we receive every day. We have several tools that give insight into global, regional, past and present search trends. These tools are available for you to play with, explore, and learn from. Use them for everything from business research to trivia answers.”
The information you’ll find in Zeitgeist is much more broad than the Hot Trends and Insights results.
Zeitgeist offers two searches:
- Year End Zeitgeist; and
- Zeitgeist Archives.
