Less Than Two Weeks Into the Game, AMA Delivers

2008 November 8

Toward the end of October (the 28th and 29th), I joined Article Marketing Automation to see how effective it is and decided to share a couple of screen shots with you today.  Article Marketing Automation, or AMA for short, offers two different membership options:

  • In the free option, you can receive articles for your blog or other content management system.  You can add as many blogs or CMS pages as you wish, and receive as many articles per day as you would like.
  • In the paid version, you can submit articles promoting your own web sites, have them “spun” so that they are unique, and the system will automatically distribute them over time to hundreds, if not thousands, of sites.  In the paid membership version, you can also submit sites to receive articles or not, it’s your choice. You can market any site that you want … you are not limited to marketing sites that receive articles from the AMA system.

Receiving Blog Content Absolutely Free

Blogs can be monetized and if they have good content, will definitely make you some money over time.  Additionally, they are very good for marketing your own sites.  Let’s say, for instance, that you have a main website about southwest pottery.  You could set up a series of blogs about southwest decor, pottery kilns, how to repair pottery and so on and have links and articles from those blogs pointing to your main pottery site.  The beauty of AMA is that you can receive highly-targeted content for free and not have to worry about writing articles on a regular basis.

There’s a new function in AMA for receiving content.  As I wrote about before, you “map” the submissions with the categories in your blog, and you can fine tune and focus the content you receive by adding in keywords.  Now, what’s really sweet, is that you can specify the percent that the article is “spun.”  What this means is that you can make sure that the articles you receive are unique.

I added four blogs on October 28 and then added another on November 3.  With the later blog, I decided to increase the “spin” factor.  Here’s a look at the articles the blogs have received in this short period of time:

Articles received within 11 days

Articles received within 11 days

The blog with 41 articles is a topic-specific blog about home improvement and furnishings.  The one with 5 entries is the one where I “tightened” the originality of articles received.  If you have some blogs, sign up for free and start getting fresh content.

Automated Article Marketing

Thanks to an incredibly busy schedule, I wrote only two articles so far, with links pointing back to this blog.  My “spun” content had over 600% originality for the titles and, on average, over 175% originality for the content.  Here’s how many articles have been published so far:

Articles published within 10 days.

Articles published within 10 days.

In just 10 days time, I now have 75 backlinks pointing to this blog.  It took some time to write the articles and include alternative language (i.e., the spin option), but once that has been done, I haven’t had to do anything else.  The result is a lot of unique backlinks that will continue to appear over time with no further work.

That’s just two articles and one site.  The possibilities for getting backlinks through the AMA system are limitless.

I might have to give AMA a try. I have one blog where I hardly ever publish anything. I want to, but I never find the time. With AMA I might actually make a profit.

Thanks. I’ll decide in a few days, and if I do try it, I will sign up using your affiliate link.

    Hey Jens,

For content, definitely sign up for the free version. I’ve been very happy with the articles received and use it on a number of blogs.

    Hi Urbain

I have just signed up for the free version, and I have received my first article. Can I just publish it to my blog, or should I do a rewrite? It said something about “original article rewritten 33%”.

    Thanks.
