Keeping it simple, without the hype. PC tips and Internet advice for mom and pop businesses.
Back on December 10, I wrote about a free software offering that actually works as promised. It’s called “Free SEO Blog Software” and it’s literally one of the best pieces of traffic-getting software out there today… and it’s absolutely free. It doesn’t expire, you can install it on as many websites as you’d like and there are no hidden fees.
When it comes to Internet marketing, there is a lot of hype out there. The free SEO Blog Software transcends the hype and false promises because it actually delivers. In fact, today I want to share with you some stats that prove just how amazing this blog software actually is.
A Quick Overview.
I installed the software on Thanksgiving evening (November 26, 2008) and started including content. By the end of November, I had added some more content. My marketing efforts to date have taken all of five minutes, tops, was absolutely free, and included submitting the site to StumbleUpon, to my free “Best Blurbs” indexing service, and submitting an RSS feed to Peter Drew’s Bad RSS system. That’s it. There was no time-consuming article writing, directory submissions or blog submissions. The marketing to date has been totally mindless and easy.
You can see the stats as of December 10 in my previous article. Here’s what’s going on as of December 21, 2008 (screen shots were taken yesterday morning at around 10:00).
Blazing Fast Indexing.
Google simply eats the SEO blog software updates up. It loves it. Yahoo is starting to catch on and MSN is just now starting to index the site. Here’s a look at the data reported with SEO Quake:
![]()
- The page rank is 0.
- 266 pages are indexed and showing up in Google’s search engine.
- Yahoo has indexed 3 pages.
- Yahoo is showing at 8 links within and to the site.
- MSN has indexed 1 page.
- The Alexa traffic rank is 1,082,819.
Remember, this is a site that is less than a month old and has the bare minimum of marketing. The blog is obviously configured to attract Google search engine traffic. In fact, you can see in the image below how frequently Google’s search engine bot is crawling the site. Alexa, MSN and Yahoo are “catching on” and starting to crawl it, too, which means there will be a heck of a lot more traffic from other sources this time next month.

Consistent Site Visitors.
Keeping in mind that this is a new site with little traffic, there have been over 200 unique visitors as of 10:00 on December 21 (the server time is an hour ahead of my time):

The daily count includes repeat visitors and other non-unique visits. There were some slow days, but overall, the daily visit count is impressive, considering how new the site is and considering the fact that little marketing work has been done.

Where the Visitors are Coming From.
The lion’s share of traffic is currently coming from searches conducted at Google. StumbleUpon and some of the other search engines are sending a few visitors, and I expect this to grow as they start earnestly indexing the blog.

Free SEO Blog is Attracting Interested Buyers, Not Looky-Loos.
The sweetest thing of all is the type of search results the site is receiving. These are highly targeted search phrases for people who are looking for specific products, not general information. If you want to sell things online and make money on the Internet, you definitely have to spend some time on keyword research.

To get these keywords, I took a 2-pronged approach. First, I took a look at what is generally popular at Google for my target audience, bed and bath home improvement. You can do this too, by using the free tools I’ve discussed in this blog. To find the articles, look at the tag cloud on this blog and click the word “Google.” All of the articles will appear.
I then fine-tuned and honed this by using Jeff Johnson’s Affiliate Tracking Machine Pro (ATM, for short), which is a steal considering all that it offers. You’ll find the special link for the software once you have installed the free SEO blog. Admittedly, ATM will cost some money but if you use it, I honestly believe that it will pay for itself a hundredfold. I haven’t even begun to use all of ATM’s potential, and already am seeing results.
If you’re on a strict budget and can’t handle the cost of the ATM software, just use the free Google tools I reviewed.
Good Keywords = Genuinely Interested Potential Buyers.
During December, I made some pocket change with Adsense. Because of their reporting rules, I blocked out a lot of statistics. But here’s the earnings as of the morning of December 21:
![]()
Considering the fact that the domain in quesion was parked and doing well if it made 5 cents a month, the earnings from Adsense alone have made at least 10x the amount of domain parking revenue. But it gets better. Although less than a month old, the site has generated affiliate commissions from Amazon and is now earning way, way, way beyond 10x its original earnings.

This is only the beginning. When I start pulling in products from other affiliate programs such as Commission Junction and ShareASale, and then start some serious marketing, this site — that was making a few cents a month– will truly turn into a profitable blog.
You Have Nothing to Lose. Try It and Start Making Money Online.
The free SEO blog software is what it says it is — free. And the audio tesitmonial that you will hear on the blog site about a guy that was making 10x the amount he was earning from his parked domains is absolutely true. You’ll stand to earn a lot more if you take a chance and use the ATM software that’s linked once you install the blog, and you can earn considerably more if you sign on to Jeff Johnson’s training system (you’ll get a link by email if you get the SEO blog software … the training is open for today only).
The free SEO blog software is very easy to use and it’s free for you to keep and use on as many domains as you want, including a “back end” blog on your existing web page if for some reason you don’t want another domain. With the approach of the new year, you owe it to yourself to start making some money online. I cannot recommend this blog package enough — the results speak for themselves. I plan on using it on dozens of “useless” domains. With good marketing and strong content, these domains will transform into little profit centers. Imagine if a domain makes just $15 a month (I think it will make much more, but this is an extremely low, conservative example). If you had ten of them with the SEO blog software all working for you, that’s at least $150 a month. I think you can do much better than that. Stop wasting time and get the free SEO blog software today.
