Article Marteting Automation - AMA for short – is an excellent way to receive fresh content for your blog on a daily basis.
In previous posts, I show how you can get targeted content for your blog by using AMA’s keyword function.
The Bad News.
This weekend, I learned that AMA decided to remove the keyword filter because of articles backing up in the system. They indicated that this function might be added back in when there are 30,000 blogs in the system that are receiving content.
From an article writer’s point of view (I’m a paid member), I can see how this benefits those of us who publish our content in the system. There’s been a dramatic increase in the amount of my articles that have been published.
But from the perspective of someone who has blogs that receive content, this is diminishing the quality of blogs because of unrelated content coming in.
The Good News.
You Can still filter out the articles that you receive, but it will take a bit more work.
Step One. Lot into your AMA account and select “Manage My Sites.”
Step Two. Click the “Edit” function as shown.

Step Three. Remove the Auto-Approval by de-selecting the “auto approval” box.

Step Four. Once you have changed the approval process, you will get an email notification from the AMA system that a new article has arrived for your review. You then approve or delete the article, using AMA’s interface.
An Alternative Step. Alternatively, if you still want to have the articles published automatically, you can set up a new category on your blog and name it something generic, such as “Entertainment News from Our Contributors” or something similar. Then, log into your AMA ccount and change the mapped category, if necessary.
