Keeping it simple, without the hype. PC tips and Internet advice for mom and pop businesses.
Last night, I listened to an interview with Scott Million of the Warrior Forum and Chris Rempel, author of the powerful Conduit Method. While specific techniques were discussed, common sense emerged as the predominant theme.
Who is Chris Rempel?
For those who might not be familiar with Chris or his Conduit Method, Rempel is known as a “super affiliate” who made $414,474.61 in profits during the year 2008. Unlike other “gurus” on the Internet who sell informational products for $97 and up, Chris shows webmasters how they, too, can make money online and doesn’t charge an arm and a leg for his information. In fact, his Conduit Method sells for just $29.95 … and it works. I’ve personally implemented some his strategies and sure enough, it is good, practical advice.
The Common Sense Approach.
Once you start exploring Internet marketing techniques and learning to make money online, it’s inevitable that you’ll join a few email lists, buy a few products. Before you know it, you’re caught up in the wave of “latest and greatest” opportunities and techniques constantly for sale by the “gurus” of the Internet, some of whom might not be as successful as they claim. It seems like every week, there is a new income strategy being promoted with a great deal of hype surrounding it.
While some of these programs are quite good, you’re not going to get anywhere unless you stick with the basics. That seemed to be the main point of the webinar, and I completely agree with it.
When you build a site, your mission should be to build an asset that you can sell. Maybe you won’t actually put it up for sale … but if it is something that you know has value in the marketplace, then you’ve spent your time well. What that means is that you are building a “real live business” whose core is giving people what they want.
Write content or provide products that people can use or are interested in reading and that they will tell others about. Keep people engaged.
Don’t overcomplicate things.
You will get what you put into your web projects. With persistence, you’ll see results.
This, I think, is the key. You get what you put into it.
Do check out the Conduit Method. It’s not one of the “hyped” products. It’s sound advice that will help you out.
And don’t give up!
