Before “going all the way” and finishing your site, it’s always a good idea to upload a page or two and see how it will look in different browswers. For instance, a site that looks great in Firefox might look horrible in Opera.
There’s a way to take a quick look without downloading a ton of Internet browsing software … and it’s free.
Go to Browser Shots, select 60 or more browsers, type in your URL, and within minutes, you’ll see thumbnail images of your site, displayed in all the browsers.
It will take a few minutes before all of the different views load, and you might need to refresh your screen a couple of times before everything is visible.
You can click on each of the thumbnails for a slightly larger image.
This utility will show you the appearance only. It will not tell you if your scripts are working correctly with the different browsers. As a general rule of thumb, you should avoid using excessive or unnecessary javascript, java or DHTML that might not read correctly in other browsers.

many thanks now i can check the appearance of my website in different browsers without installing each and every browser. Saves a hell lot of trouble.
Ya you think right. I have a blog. When i open with the IE (Internet Explorer) it problem with the it header add and when i open with it Mozilla Firefox it good.
I never realized that different browsers would change how my site will look. Thanks for this article!
It’s amazing how the different browsers change around the appearance. Some script won’t work right in different browsers, either. I prefer Firefox, but for some of my “offline work” I need to access documents from a state agency, and the only browser that will work in it is Explorer.
Thats the biggest problem with building a website is browser compatibility. I’ll say this, the only one that’s going to cause significant is any version of internet explorer. Otherwise if your site works on one it will usually work on all of them. Theres a few ways to test various versions of IE to like IE tester and Multiple IE.
