Keeping it simple, without the hype. PC tips and Internet advice for mom and pop businesses.
We all use PLR (private label rights) content. It’s great for keywords and informational types of sites or blogs. For blogs that have “stick around,” human interest power, however, I tend to write my own articles from scratch every day. If you’re doing the same thing and feel an attack of writer’s block coming on, check out Rasmussen Reports.
An interesting survey today is that 68% oppose year-round schooling. This type of information would fit on a family type of site, a lifestyles blog, or even a web site about home schooling. For technology bloggers or site owners, Rasmussen conducted a survey on Twitter usage and how users perceive security issues. Did you know, for instance, that people who earn $75,000 or more a year are more likely to have a Twitter account than those who earn less?
With a bit of creativity, you can spice up what you blog about with Rasmussen’s interesting poll results. They also have videos and a free email notification service so that you can keep informed about the latest survey results. It’s one of my favorite resources to find out where trends are headed, and what to write opinion pieces about.
