Windows 7 Released

Posted on October 22nd, 2009 by Urbain

Windows 7 is supposed to be faster and better than all of Microsoft’s previous operating system versions … and it is not supposed to create a lot of trouble like the Vista platform created.  Many of us did not bother switching to Vista because of the hardware conflicts it created. Vista was also notorious for software conflicts that it had with programs such as Quickbooks.

Upgrading a Vista system to Windows 7 is supposed to be easy, but XP users are going to have trouble.  Applications will have to be backed up and uninstalled before Windows 7 can be loaded, which will probably be too much aggravation for most of us.

I will definitely try Windows 7. Sounds really better than Vista and more powerful and feature packed than XP.

I’ve been using Windows 7 now and i don’t see any problem as of now. Actually i am happy and comfortable of it. For me, it is much better than vista.

I also hope this new version of windows is much better than Win XP, and I hope it takes less to load, which was certainly a problem.

I’m as weary of this upgrade as I am with every new version of Windows Microsoft releases. I seem to get burned by some built in function or lack of compatibility issue every time I upgrade, so I really hope that all the hype around Windows 7 is for real.
