The Cellulite Case Study – Now No. 1

Posted on October 25th, 2009 by Urbain

When I started out this case study on October 4, 2009, I chose the domain “Cellulite Is” based on the keyword research.  I was hoping at that time that I could meet or beat the #3 position in Google.  The site went live on October 13.
Yesterday, we were at #10.
Today, we are at #1.
I’ve done [...]

The Cellulite Case Study: 10/24/2009 Report

Posted on October 24th, 2009 by Urbain

When we started this out, the keyphrase I choose was “cellulite is.”  This morning, the page is now in Google’s top 10 search results for “cellulite is ” (without the quotes).  That’s out of 3,100,000 results.  I’d say that’s not too bad for a site that is not even a month old.
Pages in search results:

The [...]

The Cellulite Case Study – 10/23/2009 Report

As of today, there are no sales to report — but, items have been clicked.  It’s just a matter of time until we see this site make some money.
The last couple of days, I have been away on business.  However, I did manage to find some time to submit more articles through AMA, which has [...]

The Cellulite Case Study – 10/20/2009 Report

Posted on October 20th, 2009 by Urbain

Traffic continues to increase, and quite a few articles are now publishing.  In a week’s time, I think this site will start making money.
The article that was published at Ezine Articles has generated a click to the storefront.  I have not seen a sale yet, however.

At Article Marketing Automation (AMA), eight unique versions of an [...]

The Cellulite Case Study – 10/19/2009 Report

Posted on October 19th, 2009 by Urbain

This morning, the case study site saw a considerable amount of fresh indexing.  Right now, 79 pages are indexed in Google and we have another 39 in Yahoo.

I ran out of time to do any marketing on this site over the weekend; however, Article Marketing Automation published some more spins of the article I submitted [...]

The Cellulite Case Study – 10/17/2009 Report

Posted on October 17th, 2009 by Urbain

This is my continuing report on whether a new site can actually make some money, using the tools and techniques talked about on this blog.  Where I am at right now is getting the site indexed so it will have traffic.  The domain was purchased on 10/4/09 and the site did not go “live” until [...]

The Cellulite Case Study – 10/15/09 Report

Posted on October 15th, 2009 by Urbain

There is no major boost in traffic today, with the unique visitor count sitting at 110.  However, I didn’t do much of anything, either, as I’ve been out of the office.
What I did do was announce the blog and its RSS feed using Instant Blog Announcer, which is a bonus to Instant Blog Submitter (reviewed [...]

The Cellulite Case Study – 10/14/09 Report

Posted on October 14th, 2009 by Urbain

Last night, I finally finished the CelluliteIs.com site.  I have some more autoresponder messages to write and some other things to do, but for now, there’s something workable to start sending traffic to.  We started this project on October 4 with a domain and hosting purchase.
Currently, two pages of the blogs are listed in Google [...]

Cellulite Case Study: Step 8

The final installations have been done, including adding in a duplicate content filter for Wordpress.  I am currently working on the autoresponder sequence.  The site should be visible tomorrow, although I am not sure that I’ll have the autoresponder done by then.  Stay tuned!

The Cellulite Case Study – Part 7

Posted on October 11th, 2009 by Urbain

Today’s phase is to get ready for automation.  The “info” portion of the site will contain articles that I have rewritten from PLR sources.  I am almost done with this and will have three months’ worth of uniquely written blog posts.
A lot of people do not spend much time rewriting their PLR articles.  Perhaps I [...]
